Summit of Heroes 2025
On June 12th, 2025, Canada’s Walk of Fame hosted it’s inaugural Summit of Heroes. It was a captivating evening of learning sessions and a promise for the future as we gathered our Community and National Heroes at Trinity College, at the University of Toronto. A special note of thanks to Joannah and Brian Lawson and to our 2023 National Hero, James Temerty for their support of the Summit of Heroes.
The Summit of Heroes brought our six Community Heroes and two of our four National Heroes together for an intimate gathering to inspire ideas, engage in networking opportunities and help raise awareness for the Heroes’ foundations and initiatives.
Following the evening, a statement was made by a Trinity member of staff, “for the first time in a long time, I feel we have hope for the future”.
Canada’s Walk of Fame, its partners, Inductees, and Honourees, continue to provide hope while inspiring our youth with encouragement to thrive and succeed.
The Canada’s Walk of Fame Community Hero program, presented by MLSE and Seeing Red, selects an exceptional Canadian under 30 who positively influences the lives of others and makes a profound impact on their communities and beyond. The selected grand prize winner receives a donation to help raise awareness and advocate for a cause that is important to them. The winner is recognized through potential media opportunities and attends our Canada’s Walk of Fame gala events where their remarkable accomplishments are highlighted on a national stage.
The Canada’s Walk of Fame National Hero Honour is presented to an individual whose selflessness, dedicated efforts, and outstanding contributions have made a significant difference in our society in that given year.
